Aspen's Blessing

We went to Wyoming last weekend for Aspen's blessing. I had the brilliant idea the day before we left that maybe Jo (Billie's mom) and I could make a dress ourselves. I try to sew but I still don't really know what I'm doing so I was really excited to learn from a pro. I learned a lot but still have a long way to go. I was so glad to learn!

I loved this picture of Aspen hugging her daddy as he was putting her to sleep. The other arm was wrapped around his chest too.

We got to spend time with our nieces and nephew too! They loved playing with Aspen and did such a good job holding her.

Here are some pictures from the day of the blessing. I made the flower for her hair but it turned out a little heavy for the tiny headband. Oh well!

One of Billie's best friends, Devin, blessed his baby boy that day too! Such adorable dads :)

A big event of the weekend was that Tyler got an iphone. Here he is posing with his baby. How sweet!

Little Sleeper

This little 5 week old girl

decided that last night she would sleep through the entire night! Now we'll have to see if it was a fluke or if she's consistent. Either way, it was a nice treat for me!

One Month Old!

Aspen is one month old today!!

Some of her favorite things to do are: giggle in her sleep, lay in the swing, make funny faces (our favorite is the cross eyed one) and play with mom and dad.

While she's been getting good at those things I've been getting good at falling asleep in 1 minute or less at any time of day or night, doing things one handed (yes, I'm nursing her while doing this post! haha), and loving her SO MUCH!

Lately

Well, I haven't posted anything on the blog for a while because I haven't known what to say other than I AM IN LOVE WITH MY BABY! She is so much fun and we are loving being new parents. Here are some pictures of what we've been up to for the past few weeks.

I dress Aspen up every chance I get. Billie thinks it's silly but I can't help it!
