When we went to our 18 month check up at the doctor's office a month ago, he asked me how many words Aspen could say. At that point, I couldn't really count how many but realized it probably wasn't TONS of words. Well, since that day, she has been saying new words we never even knew we taught her. She's even starting to string 2 and 3 words together! It's so fun to hear and see her grow up but I can't help but get a little sad when she learns the right way to say a word when she had been saying it wrong (and in such a cute way!) for so long. I decided I had to document some of our favorite words she says before she learns to say them right and I forget all about them!

• "dub-dub" means fork or spoon
• "bah-bah" means diaper or her bottom
• "nuu-nuu" is her name for her friend, Lauren, who is her favorite neighbor friend to play with
• "nom" means milk
• "doo-doo" (with the right intonation) means thank you. She's very good at remembering her manners
• "shee-sho" means cereal
• "you!!" is what she says when she sees herself in the mirror
• she's famous in our family for her two signs she always does: she says "more" and "please" (we die)
• she LOVES to 'drive' the car where she sits in the front seat and pretends to move the wheel. She asks to drive by acting like she's driving a motorcycle with the hand throttle motion and says "vroom vroom vroooooooom!!!"

One of her other trademarks is her deep love for putting things on that are either too small for her or not meant to be worn. Examples below.

This is a toolbox her grandma gave her for Christmas. She prefers to wear it as a hat.
